ProtroSys is our equation of state (EOS) software package for analyzing and evaluating reservoir fluid phase behaviors, miscibility evaluation of petroleum fluids, and designing and monitoring of gas injection projects etc. It can be used for:
- Analyzing oil-solvent miscibility system and miscible mechanisms
- Monitoring the sources of production fluids in the gas injection projects and evaluate the effectiveness of injection
- Optimizing the field production conditions for maximum liquid recovery in the versatile and condensate reservoirs
- Simulating gas extraction process and Huff-Puff process in the field
- Analyzing the wax and asphaltene solid precipitation from the reservoir fluids
- Simulating various PVT measurements and miscibility studies using equation of state models
- Characterizing the heavy fluid fraction into pseudo-components
- Calculating physical properties of petroleum fluids
The EOS models include Peng-Robinson and Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation of state models. The software includes over 20 modules of various functionalities for various petroleum fluid evaluations, which are useful in the petroleum and reservoir engineering.
